Admission information for the academic year starting September 2013
The application period for September 2013 enrollment at Riga Stradins University will start on 1st of April 2013.

01/04/2013 – 10/07/2013 Application period for EU/EEA citizens *
15/07/2013 Deadline to confirm the study place for non-EU/EEA citizens
05/08/2013 Deadline to confirm the study place for EU/EEA citizens
12/08/2013 Student group lists are prepared
19/08/2013 Deadline for any changes in student group lists upon students’ requests
19/08/2013 Deadline to inform about student’s arrival date and apply for the pick-up service if needed
26/08/2013 – 30/08/2013 Orientation Week
26/08/2013 Pick-up service from Riga International Airport
02/09/2013 Beginning of autumn semester
Please keep in mind that only complete applications are accepted and evaluated by the Admission Board. In case incomplete application is received, we will inform you about the missing document(s) and they must be submitted until the application deadline. After the application deadline (15th of June for non-EU/EEA citizens and 10th of July for EU/EEA citizens), no documents will be accepted.
Admission Board’s decision will be announced in maximum 2 months after receiving complete application package.
VERY IMPORTANT!!! Requests for exemptions from any study subjects at RSU should be made BEFORE THE APPLICATION DEADLINE (15th of June for non-EU/EEA citizens, 10th of July for EU/EEA citizens). The applicant apply for exemptions from subjects in all study programme, all study years. After the application deadline it will no longer be possible to make any changes in student’s approved study plan!
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission requirements regarding completed secondary education, science subjects and English have not changed. However please note that the minimum age requirement of 18 years has been cancelled. In case the applicant is underage, he/she needs a legal guardian in Latvia and parents’ permission to reside in Latvia in order to study at RSU.
TUITION FEE
Tuition fee for academic year 2013/2014 does not change, however bond money has been reduced to 300.00 EUR: http://www.rsu.lv/eng/international-students/degree-programmes/tuition-fee-and-scholarships
